Privacy Policy

Amazal.net is the developer and privacy contact for this app. For information that never leaves your iPhone (your media files), you remain in control: we cannot remotely open those files.

When you compress a video or photo, the app copies the file you selected into a temporary folder in the app sandbox, encodes it using Apple frameworks (including AVFoundation and ImageIO), shows the resulting file size, and lets you save or share the output.

Temporary files are deleted after you cancel, after a failure, after you delete local data in Settings, or when they are no longer needed. Compression does not delete your original file in Photos or Files.

Your original media, file names you see in the app, and compression results are not sent to Amazal.net.

Photo Library (Add Only) is requested only when you tap Save to Photos. The app does not browse your entire library on its own; you choose items through the system picker.

Files: you choose which video or photo to import through the system Files or document picker.

Tracking (free version): iOS may ask whether the app can track you across apps and websites for advertising. You can decline and still compress media.

The free plan’s daily compression count (3 per day) is stored in on-device preferences (UserDefaults).

Pro compression history stores names, sizes, dates, and preset on the iPhone only. It does not store a second copy of the video or photo in that history list.

You can delete history and temporary files in Settings → Delete Local Data.

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple collects payment details under Apple’s privacy policy. Amazal.net receives entitlement status (for example, whether Pro is active) and does not receive your payment card number.

Restore Purchases uses the Apple ID on the device. We cannot issue refunds; refunds are handled by Apple.

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner on Home, a native ad on the result screen, a full-screen ad after every second completed compression, and an app-open ad on launch or return from background.

To serve ads, Google may collect or infer a device advertising identifier, device model and iOS version, language, time zone, ad impressions and interactions, crash and diagnostic data related to the ads SDK, and approximate location derived from IP address. Depending on your consent choices, this data may be used for personalised advertising, frequency capping, and measurement.

Your videos, photos, file names, and compression results are never sent to Google or any ad network as part of the compression pipeline.

Where required (including the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), a Google User Messaging Platform consent form is shown. You can decline personalised ads and still use the app. iOS may also ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. You can refuse tracking and still use the app.

A paid Pro plan removes ads. When Pro is active, the ads SDK is not started for that session.

Google’s own policies apply to data Google processes. Amazal.net does not control Google’s independent processing.

If you email support@amazal.net, we receive the address you send from, the subject and body, any attachments you include, and standard email metadata. We use that information only to reply.

We keep support mail long enough to resolve the request, then delete it when it is no longer needed. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government ID scans, or documents you would not want stored in an inbox.

We do not require an Amazal.net account for core features.

We do not sell the content you create or import in the app.

We do not use your photos, documents, resumes, quiz answers, or lesson progress to train artificial intelligence models.

We do not upload your files to Amazal.net servers for core processing.

Content and settings stored by the app remain on the device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app sandbox, including local databases and temporary files, unless you separately saved copies in Photos, Files, or another app.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or California, you may have rights to request access to personal information we hold about you, to ask that we correct it, or to ask that we delete it. For Amazal.net apps, most personal content never leaves your device, so the practical way to delete it is to delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

We do not sell personal information. Advertising partners such as Google may process device identifiers for ads in free versions of some apps, as described in this policy and in their own policies. You can decline tracking and, where shown, decline personalised ads.

To make a request about information we actually hold (typically an email you sent us), write to support@amazal.net or contact@amazal.net. We will not ask you to send resumes, documents, photos, or other app content to exercise these rights.

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete the message.

We may update this policy when the app or the law changes. The Last updated date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
