Privacy Policy

When you compress a video or photo, the app copies the file to a temporary folder on your device, encodes it using Apple frameworks (AVFoundation, ImageIO), shows you the result size, and deletes temporary files after cancel, failure, or when you delete local data.

Your original file in Photos or Files is not deleted by compression.

Photo Library (Add Only) is requested only when you tap Save to Photos. We do not browse your library unless you choose a file through the system picker.

Files: you choose which video or photo to import through the system Files picker.

Tracking (free version): if you use the free version, iOS may ask whether the app can track you for advertising. You can decline and still use the app.

Daily compression count (free plan limit of 3/day) is stored in UserDefaults on your iPhone.

Compression history (Pro) stores names, sizes, dates, and preset on the iPhone only — no media files.

Temporary encoded files stay until save, share, or cancel.

You can delete history and temp files in Settings → Delete Local Data. Uninstalling the app removes remaining local data.

Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. We receive entitlement status through StoreKit, not your payment card details.

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner on Home, a native ad on the result screen, a full-screen ad after every second completed compression, and an app open ad on launch or return from background.

To serve ads, Google may collect a device advertising identifier, device model and iOS version, ad impressions and interactions, and approximate location from IP address. Depending on your consent choices, this data may be used for personalised advertising and measurement.

Your videos, photos, file names, and compression results are never sent to Google or any ad network.

Where required (EEA, UK, Switzerland), a Google consent form appears on first launch. You can change your choice anytime in the app: Settings → Ads → Ad privacy options.

Pro removes all ads. The ads SDK is not started for Pro users.

We do not upload your videos or photos, sell your personal information, require an account, or use your media for AI training.

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy. The Last updated date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
